New Asian Fusion Restaurant Daikon Carrot Now Open in Jersey City

The emerging West Side of Jersey City is welcoming a new dining option. Daikon Carrot, a new restaurant, is officially open for business.

The restaurant is situated on the ground floor at 233 West Side Avenue inside the recently sold Rivet complex. Their menu blends influences from Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai cuisines, with their Banh Mi sandwiches ranking as an early favorite.

Their Banh Mi varieties include chicken, bulgogi beef, or ponzu-marinated tofu as fillers, while their loaded Saigon street fries are topped with Viet Aioli, fresh scallions, cilantro, fried shallots, crushed peanuts, jalapeños, and Thai chili peppers.

Refreshments at the casual restaurant include Calamansi Quenchers, a tangy citrus drink. Daikon Carrot also features a full menu from Gong Cha, allowing diners to enjoy one of their inspired teas or drinks under the same roof.
